My iPhone Keeps Overheating – What Can I Do to Prevent This?

Posted on: 05/26/2023

You know exactly when it starts to happen – you are using your phone and all of the sudden, it gets warmer and warmer until it almost feels ablaze. iPhones must operate at an optimum temperature to ensure that they work well and so that damage does not occur to them.

Apple has stated that the ideal operating temperature for the iPhone is between 32 degrees and 95 degrees Fahrenheit. If your phone stays within this range, it should work without any issues for you, granted there is nothing else wrong with the phone. Apple has stated that the non-operating temperature for the iPhone is between -4 degrees and 113 degrees Fahrenheit.

An overheating phone is an issue and one that needs to be addressed quickly to prevent serious issues that may occur.
